The dunes of M'Hamid El Ghizlane are best experienced between early October and late April. These seven months offer comfortable daytime sunshine and mild conditions for walking.
24°C to 28°C during the day, gentle evenings (12°C to 15°C). Ideal for walking barefoot along warm ridges and experiencing open-air camping for the first time.
Crisp clear days (18°C to 22°C) and cold nights (2°C to 6°C). This season offers the clearest stargazing skies of the year and memorable evenings around the fire.
26°C to 30°C in the afternoon, mild evenings. Desert acacias and wild shrubs bloom after seasonal rains.
From June through August, temperatures routinely rise above 45°C. Out of respect for the safety of our guests, camel handlers, and animals, we pause all multi-day treks during the summer months.
